Driving Miss Donna - what does this mean? Whenever I want to go somewhere, if Don is home he will usually drive. He always says he is driving miss Donna! This blog is for our travels, usually with our truck and fifth wheel trailer, but sometimes in our other wheels. When we are not vacationing check in for updates, although less frequent, about our life at home and our wonderful family:)

Happy Anniversary and so much more...

Well the May long was a blast.  The pictures show it all.  The weather wasn't the greatest but really not so bad.  We didn't get snow like some of our friends did.  We got in one good quad ride, and spent the rest of the time visiting, eating, drinking, etc.  The kids had a blast, especially Blake.  He played on the quad from day break to night, even ate supper on the quad.  And he may have a new hot dog record of 5!

Today is our 30th Anniversary!  In so many ways it seems like yesterday, but so many incredible things have happened in our lives.  Hard to believe our children are all grown up and we have grandchildren!  We can't be old enough for that?  Life has dealt it's share, but through it all good and bad we have pulled through.  Lost friends, aunts and uncles, grandparents and a parent; but gained so much from it all.

This weekend we are headed to Lindsay and Jeremy's for a quad in fishing trip to Six Lakes.  I cannot believe I agreed to a tenting trip.  ha ha the joke is on me.  When I agreed it was January and June was far away.  Now I have to suck it up.  The only thing getting me through is the memory of Jeremy's fish fry.

Here are some photos of the last camping weekend.  I have got to go and pack:)

May Long Weekend!

Thought it would be nice for a brief update.  Although we aren't "travelling" per say we are headed out for the first actual camping trip of the year!  Along with Tracy Cal and kids, Lindsay and Jeremy, Paul and Mary (our Alaskan adventure cohorts) and Brad and Julie Streadwick and their kids, we are going to Cross Lake Provincial Park for a weekend of campfires, quadding, fishing and relaxation.

It should be a great time as always.  No one ever expects good weather this particular weekend, and that's a good thing as it is raining:)

Best to everyone...
