Well there comes a time when you need to do maintenance on an old house that you know is necessary but almost hurts. We have lived in our house since 1998. So a pictorial and where it began and where it ended (for the fall before spring landscaping).
It seems odd to give this event it's own blog, but it was one of the most impactful changes we have made. Those trees were beautiful, but the house and hence the trees were over 50 years and had to go. It is a common occurrence in this old neighborhood.
This has changed the inside of the house far more than I ever imagined, with sunshine in new places and a whole different perspective of our street.
I can't wait to see what we come up with in the spsring but I know we are both looking forward to a flat lawn to mow.
