The last few weeks have been filled with so many great visits and memories. We hosted the annual DWS Aggregates Consulting Christmas party to start the festivities. Once again our home was filled with family and friends. We enjoyed a full evening of food and laughter. Thanks to everyone who attended. As always I think our grandkids were the special guests.
Paul serves up a mean 7-Up. Turns out Connor might have a problem. Lol
We did experience a near miracle. All 5 grandchildren had a Santa visit with no tears. It was so beautiful.
Our Christmas was on December 26 but Santa still managed to find us, probably because he listened to the kids, and fill stockings.
We also had the great opportunity to watch Blake play all 4 games in his Christmas Tournament. They captured silver and he played awesome in all the games!
We also got to try out the Stecyk's new ice fishing tent...
It's almost big enough the camp in.
Now we are back in our "usual" pattern. Don is working up north for a while and I'm doing the same here at home.
A few exciting things coming up. I'm travelling to California for a week in February to spend some days with Lindsay and Jeremy and the boys (Jeremy is attending a conference), I'm attending the annual Federated Co-operatives Meetings in Saskatoon, and then just days later Don and I are headed south for about 8 weeks! Woohoo!! We are ready now I think.
So enjoy the rest of January and I'll touch base soon!
